Margaret Williams owned The Smallest House between 1987 and 2015, having inherrited it from her mother, Elizabeth Williams, granddaughter of Robert Jones.
During her life she was a jounalist with a number of regional papers & an author of books often based around Conwy. Having spent many years away she returned to look after her aging mother and run The Smallest House. She always enjoyed talking about The Smallest House and even toured the world on the cruise ships giving the guests a flavour of the house through the ages.
She was selected to be one of the personalities to represent the region at the Sustrans portrait bench.
