The Smallest House in Great Britain

The Smallest House is currently closed.

With the continuing COVID situation we are unable to give a firm re-opening date but we hope to re-open at some point in Spring 2021.

We were one of the locations visited as part of the BBC2 series Monkman & Seagull's Genius Guide to Britain and have been written about in many newspaper & magazine articles.

Please come and visit to gain an insight into what it might have been like to live in The Smallest House when it was lived in before 1900.

Located on the quayside, despite its small size, it is hard to miss given its bright red colour.

#Open from 10-6 during school summer holidays, and 10-4 at other times.#
